The Maine Music Educators Association, and its national affiliate, MENC: National Association for Music Education, are committed to work for the welfare of music educators, the advancement of music education, and the improvement of instructional opportunities for all. School counselors help students reach their potential educationally, socially, and emotionally. School counselors work with teachers to present a guidance curriculum to all students based on their developmental stage. Counselors also help individual students establish personal and career plans, as well as responding to immediate needs and stresses in students' lives. MESCA publishes four newsletters a year and sponsors an annual conference for school counselors.

The Maine Science Teachers Association represents science teachers (K-16) and other educators throughout the state of Maine. Our goal is to encourage and promote exemplary science teaching and learning for all Maine teachers and students. MSTA publishes a newsletter four times per year, has an annual conference, mini-grants program, and special projects. Affiliated with the National Science Teachers Association.
