MEA Grants

Announcing 2012
California Casualty Thomas R. Brown Athletics Grant (Updated)

This is an opportunity for high schools across the nation to apply for a grant in which will help financially support athletics programs. With the continuing budget cuts, many school districts are having to make difficult decisions and the athletic programs are sometimes amongst the first to go.

Recognizing how hectic end-of-year and new-semester start times are for educators, California Casualty has extended the application deadline for its Thomas R. Brown Athletics Grant program to February 15, 2012.

Applications must be submitted by a member of the NEA who is an employee of the school that seeks grant support, and they should be received by California Casualty no later than February 15, 2012. Selected schools will be notified and presented checks by May 2012. There is a more complete description of the program at: calcasathleticsgrant.com.

Application Deadline is now February 15, 2012
