The Maine Music Educators Association, and its national affiliate, MENC, the National Association for music Education, are committed to promote music education in America’s schools. The MMEA organizes school music festivals throughout the state on both regional and state levels. School counselors help students reach their potential educationally, socially, and emotionally. School counselors work with teachers to present a guidance curriculum to all students based on their developmental stage. Counselors also help individual students establish personal and career plans, as well as responding to immediate needs and stresses in students’ lives. MESCA publishes four newsletters a year and sponsors an annual conference for school counselors.

The Maine Science Teachers Association represents science teachers (K-16) and other educators throughout the state of Maine. Our goal is to encourage and promote exemplary science teaching and learning for all Maine teachers and students. MSTA publishes a newsletter four times per year, has an annual conference, mini-grants program, and special projects. Affiliated with the National Science Teachers Association.

The Technology Education Association of Maine (TEAM) is the representative body for Maine's teachers of technology education (also includes programs and teachers of Industrial Arts).
